Grimsby v Macclesfield Team News

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 27/08/2019

MICHAEL Jolley used his full squad for the last round's tie with Doncaster, making around 7 changes to the starting line up. This time more changes can be expected with several players injured.

Liam Gibson (illness), Harry Davis (shoulder), Ludvig Öhman (head) and Ahkeem Rose (hamstring) are all doubtful so Jolley may take the opportunity to give some of his fringe players a start.

Macclesfield, like Grimsby, have made a solid start to the season and they have won the last five games at Blundell Park.

The match will go straight to penalties in the event of a draw with no extra time.
