Stafford game televisied

GRIMSBY's 1st Round FA Cup tie at Stafford Rangers has been chosen by TNT Sports as their early Sunday game. The match will now take place on Sunday 8th November, with a 12 pm kick-off.
The two clubs have never played a game before. Their stadium, Marston Road, holds about 3000 fans, and they play in the Northern Premier League Division One, 3 levels below Town. Stafford beat Gateshead 5-0 in the previous round though, so they will be confident of claiming a scalp against league opposition.
Ticket details have yet to be announced, but it won't be an easy game to get to, with at least 2.5 hours to drive from the Grimsby area. There are no replays, so the match will be decided on the day, with extra time if needed.
