Salford v Grimsby Team News

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 17/09/2019

GRIMSBY travel to Salford City for this first time tonight to face the newcomers to League Two. Manager Michael Jolley is hoping Matt Green (illness) will be available for the game after missing the Oldham match.

Ahkeem Rose (hamstring) is the only other doubt, and the Town boss is likely to select a similar side to Oldham where Town were outplayed for much of the match but managed a late comeback to salvage a 2-2 draw.

Salford have only won one of their eight games, but have drawn five so are not easily beaten. They lost their last home game though, going down 2-0 to Cheltenham at the weekend.
