FA Cup Draw Looms

SATURDAY once again sees the draw for the First Round of the FA Cup at around 5pm. Last year the Mariners beat QPR 1-0, before crashing out the competition 3-2 at Peterborough. The QPR victory was Town's first win in the cup since beating Stockport in 1999.
Town have been assigned number 17 in the "hat". Amongst the non-league sides still in the competition (although the final qualifying round is yet to come) are local outfit Brigg Town and Russell Slade's former club Scarborough.
