Southport v Grimsby Team News

TOWN have several injury worries for the visit to relegation-threatened Southport. Striker Oumare Tounkara picked up a quad injury in the FA Trophy game with Cambridge and will miss at least two matches. Paddy McLaughlin and Aswad Thomas are both doubts as well.
Grimsby played Southport only recently at Blundell Park when the home side were left frustrated as the strikers failed to take their chances in a 0-0 draw. Town have a poor record against the part timers - they have won just once in 7 attempts in the Conference, although 4 games have ended in draws.
Generally though Southport have been in the top half of the table when Town have played them, this season they find themselves struggling in the bottom four.
