Grimsby v Tamworth Team News

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 16/03/2012

LEADING scorer Liam Hearn is facing a fitness battle to be fit in time for the clash with Tamworth at Blundell Park on Saturday. Hearn missed the midweek defeat by York City with a hamstring injury but the club hope he'll be fit in time to play in what has become a must win game for Grimsby.

Midfielder Anthony Church (ankle) and Bradley Wood (knock) are also doubts for the Mariners, who otherwise have a full squad to pick from.

Tamworth have been struggling of late and on paper it's one if the easiest fixtures remaining this season. If Grimsby fail to beat the Lambs, a team they have never won against in four outings, it would make the challenge of getting in top five significantly harder.
