GRIMSBY have signed their seventh player of the summer, and the third who played for Boston last season. Goalkeeper James McKeown has signed a one-year with an option for a second year.

The 21-year-old played on loan for Boston last season from Peterborough, and played in 18 games for the Pilgrims, keeping an impressive 14 clean sheets.

Promoted Peterborough released McKeown in the summer so Town have snapped up the youngster with no fee involved.

The shot stopper has also played for Kettering and Worcester City.
