Beat the Bookies: Week 20

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 10/12/2010 (Last updated: 16/12/2010)

BIRMINGHAM came close to beating Spurs last week but not close enough! With no Conference games again, and a lot of the FA Trophy liable to be disrupted by weather it's once again time to focus on the Premiership.

Home > 2010-2011 Season > Beat the Bookies > Week 20

  • WEST HAM (4.6, Victor Chandler) v Man City. West Ham have been very solid at home recently and you never know with City what side is going to turn up.
  • ASTON VILLA v West Brom. Villa have gone right off the boil recently, but West Brom have only just come off a long losing run. Villa with their massive support overall are value at odds against for this local derby.
  • STOKE (1.67, Boyle Sports) v Blackpool. Stoke should be too strong at home in the contest of Beauty and the Beast. We think the beast will triumph.
  • TOTTENHAM (3.0, Stan James) v Chelsea. Chelsea are in crisis by their standards and Spurs's confidence can never been higher. Spurs should be favourites but the bookies don't see it that way.
  • EVERTON (1.44, Boyle Sports) v Wigan. Everton haven't won for donkeys but Wigan away from home are whipping boys in this division.
  • Grimsby v REDDITCH (9.0, Bet365). Town and their players have not always taken cup games against lower league sides as seriously as they should be and 8/1 looks good value for an away win in a one-off game.
