Jones Back On Tuesday?

By: Bill Osborne
Date: 01/12/2005

ROB Jones who featured in the reserves game yesterday with no reactions may return to first team action against Rochdale on Tuesday.

Sidelined for almost three weeks following a hernia operation he is looking forward to coming back and Russell Slade wants him back asap.

Slade told Mariners Net; "He came though that game okay and is feeling fine. As I've said in recent weeks, we have sorely missed him at the back - not just for his aerial ability and defensive work, but his presence too."

Jones was back in training again today.

Tickets for Tuesday's game are now on sale from the Blundell Park ticket office.

Next Saturday's clash against Bristol Rovers has been made a kids free game. Up to 4 free kids with one paying adult.
