Question of the Week

Where will Grimsby finish?

Livvo on Comeback Trail

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 24/08/2001

STEVE LIVINGSTONE has been given the green light to return to training after suffering a trapped nerve in Town's pre-season tour of Scandinavia. The veteran front man has set a target of starting light running again on Monday after spending the last week at Lilleshall working with the injury.

The Middlesbro-born striker explained: "I got through the pre-season without any troubles but as soon as we started to use the ball, I hit problems. I got this shooting pain in my calf and that made it impossible for me to play. To say I was frustrated is an under-statement - hopefully now I can get back at it."

"....The only time I'll know for certain is when I try it out..."

"I've got to do nothing this week but after that I can step up the work and hopefully the injury has eased now. The only time I'll know for certain is when I try it out."

Livvo hopes to be back in First Team action in 4-5 weeks.
