DR FISHY has compiled match statistics and a report card for the Grimsby Town side that astonishingly beat Wimbledon 6-2.

Coyne: Conceded two goals that he never really had any chance with, but other than that his kicking was good (as ever, it seems) and he made a couple of fine 'tip-overs' in the first half. In the second half he was made redundant.
Grade: C+
McDermott: Once again the captain had a fine match. He brought others into play and got into some decent attacking positions without jeopardising his defensive work. Played a key role in the second goal.
Grade: B-
Gallimore: This was a top performance from Gally who refused to boot the ball down the lines. His surprisingly long throw brought about the first goal, and was perhaps better in the first half.
Grade: B-
Todd: His first half performance was pretty average, but his distribution in the second half was top class. His direct balls along the ground through to the strikers weren't dealt with by the Dons defenders and as a result brought about goal scoring opportunities.
Grade: B-
Groves: Showed his wealth of experience when up against Agyemang, and threw himself in front of shots. He was very commanding at the back and was the central figure in getting the ball and team to drive forward.
Grade: B
Butterfield: He was a different player in the second half. First half again was pretty average but after half time he gave Wimbledon's left back plenty of things to think about. He crossed well and took players on at every opportunity.
Grade: B-
Campbell: He looks off the pace most of the time although there has been a slow but steady improvement over the last three games. In the first half he showed signs of his capabilities but it was in the second half that he played his best game.
Grade: C+
Coldicott: I can't recall him ever playing a forward pass although this shouldn't be interpreted as a negative thing. He kept hold of possession well, kept moves flowing and broke up Wimbledon's attacking play in the centre.
Grade: C+
Pouton: To start with he couldn't pass the ball to his own team mates but as the game wore on he got better and better. He made a couple of excellent tackles and showed confidence in taking penalties, even if he did get an extra chance. Showed composure for all of his three goals and could have had more.
Grade: A-
Allen: It was Allen's play that created space for Boulding to run into. Once again he was exceptional off the ball and held up play well, bringing in the midfielders to really push forward. All he needs is another goal, but we can live without that if the other players contribute.
Grade: B
Boulding: It's a fact that every time he is given a ball to run with/chase on to, he makes the fans stand up by creating chances. He scored three, won two penalties and was full of determination all match. He could have had more in the second half and as usual, the opposition just didn't know how to cope with him.
Grade: A
SUBS
Jevons and Rowan replaced Allen and Boulding in the last few minutes, and Burnett came on to replace Coldicott but all three substitutions were all made far to late to give any of the players a report and grade. However, Jevons looked quite sharp and Rowan looked OK.
Best part of Town's performance: Basically (once more) the forward play. Although we're passing it better a lot lately, most of the time we gave Wilmot et al trouble when we went direct - mainly through Todd's long driven balls through the centre. Any time when Boulding was left running onto a through-ball we did something of note.
Areas for improvement: It still shows that we can't defend corners. While we weren't scoring, we weren't conceding many either. Now we're scoring, we're also conceding quite a few. We conceded two against Palace, Walsall and Wimbledon - all at Blundell Park. It's been a while since we kept a clean sheet at home.
Entertainment scale: Now I don't know what I'm going to do here. Liverpool was a 10, Palace was a 9.5 and this is just about in between. There are getting more and more decimal places, after today ranked at 9.75

| A* | This is almost impossible to achieve as I will refuse to give anyone this grade - unless they score six goals and get opposing players sent off. |
| A | This is more possible to achieve, although the player must have had a brilliant game i.e. he can't have put a foot wrong all match. |
| A- | The player must have performed superbly, setting up goals, scoring goals, making match-winning tackles etc. |
| B+ | The player played to a very high standard indeed having been influential throughout the 90 minutes. |
| B | This can be achieved if the player had a very good game overall but could be forgiven for making one or two minor mistakes. |
| B- | The player put in a performance worthy of special mention for his efforts on the pitch or otherwise having a good game. |
| C+ | A mark for players who have had an average game but at the same time played well in patches and may have had an impact on the final score. |
| C | An average performance but not worthy of being dropped for the next game - a competent performance. |
| C- | Start thinking about the player's attitude and commitment on the pitch. Showed little effort and was probably invisible for most of the match. |
| D+ | Poor game and realistically shouldn't feature in the next game. |
| D | This player shouldn't be playing in the near future. |
| D- | The player deserves to be fined for his abysmal performance |
| E | The player should be sacked |
| F | And then shot |
