Stevenage v Grimsby Team News

GRIMSBY hope to bounce back from their recent slump at a ground they have never got a point in their previous two visits. Michael Jolley once again has injury worries with John Welsh doubtful and trio Andrew Fox, Paul Dixon and Harry Cardwell are ruled out.

Jolley has been saddled with injuries and suspensions which have stopped him from being able to pick a settled side and the recent poor results have added to the drive for changes in personnel. The combination has produced a dip in form from which Grimsby need to lift themselves if they want to avoid being involved in another relegation battle.

Stevenage's Ben Nugent and Jimmy Ball both were forced off with knocks in last week's draw at Notts County, but they are expected to recover.

Town normally reserve one of their worst away performances of the season for Stevenage, which last year was marred by "Bragate" when Grimsby supporters had to endure an inappropriate level of scrutiny upon entering the ground.
