Kidderminster v Grimsby Team News
By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 14/09/2012
GRIMSBY have several injury worries for Saturday's trip to Kidderminster. Andy Cook (ankle) and Bradley Wood (hamstring) both limped off in the first half against Forest Green at the weekend, and will therefore be doubts.
The fact that Town won the game will mean that even if Cook and Wood recover the managers will have to decide whether to start with them or their replacements Dale Southwell and Sam Hatton, who played the bulk of the game after coming off the bench.
Two players who might have featured in the squad but received injuries in the midweek reserve game which might prevent them doing so are defender Simon Ford (head) and midfielder Andi Thanoj (ankle).
Kidderminster may be bottom but Steve Burr's side and bound to rise from there are some time. Harriers have drawn their last three games, which in itself is a big improvement on losing their opening five matches.
Keeper Daniel Lewis and defender Mike Williams (foot) have both recovered from injuries, but Kyle Storer, Jack Byrne and Tom Sharpe are all ruled out with injury.
Grimsby have never beaten Kidderminster in four attempts at this level, although they did the double over Harriers in the 2004-2005 season in League Two. Last year they drew away and lost at home, and the year before the drew at home and lost away.
