Flash Signs Contract

DARREN Mansaram has signed a rolling week-to-week contract with the Mariners, after rejecting a deal offered to him earlier this summer. The short-term contract allows Mansaram to start Saturday's opener with Darlington after Russell Slade failed to sign a new striker on time.
The 20-year-old striker has been given a squad number of 19 and is likely to start at Darlington in Grimsby's new threesome up front alongside Ashley Sestanovic and Andy Parkinson
