Barrow v Grimsby Team News

GRIMSBY make the long trip to Cumbria to take on Barrow and try and extend their unbeaten run to four games. Town have won two tricky looking fixtures with Mansfield and Hereford and now head to Barrow, who have yet to win a game this season.

Neither team has any known injuries. However Grimsby striker Anthony Elding has slapped in a transfer request after being frustrated at not starting many games for Town.

The 30-year-old was targeted by League One outfit Preston, but Town turned down their offer to take the 30-year-old off their hands for nothing!

Grimsby refused the offer from Preston and have also turned down Elding's request to leave the Mariners - until a suitable replacement is found when the loan window re-opens.

In terms of tonight's game it is unlikely that Elding will make it further than the bench, if that.

Town have taken 4 points off Barrow in each of the last two seasons.
