A disappointing result for most of the 5,381 souls at Blundell Park today when Town went down 3-1 after taking the lead with a goal from Gary Jones.
In the second half, Stockport grabbed an equaliser from an own goal by Whittle, after which, Town seemed to lose their width and their hopes.
