Award To The Mariners!

THE League Manager's Association have awarded Grimsby Town the "Scottish Life Performance Of The Week" award for their last minute win against Rotherham.
The judging panel, Howard Wilkinson, Barry Fry, George Burley, Dave Bassett and Sir Alex Ferguson, selected the Mariners' performance as the best of the week.
In a close finish against Bolton's 2-0 win at the Stadium of Light, Town beat Bolton to top the list with their last minute clincher.
Town boss Paul Groves will receive the specially engraved crystal football in a presentation that will be screened on Sky Sports' Soccer Saturday.
This award is a much coveted trophy with every club in the Premier and Football League up for consideration and will be a boost both to the squad and the fans. The club will also be proud to add another piece of silverware to their collection.
