After being dumped out of the FA Cup on Wednesday night, Grimsby Town have re-arranged their postponed match with Portsmouth for Saturday 27th January - the day on which the Mariners had been hoping to meet Wolverhampton Wanderers in the FA Cup 4th round.

The match had initially been scheduled for December 30th, but was postponed due to heavy snow and a frozen pitch. Any supporters who had purchased tickets for the original meeting are reminded that those tickets will be valid for the re-arranged fixture.

Meanwhile, with the current turmoil at the club, all players will be out to impress in tonight's reserve fixture against Hartlepool United at Blundell Park in an Avon Insurance League Cup tie.

The Mariners trail 'Pool by one goal after the first leg at Victoria Park. Kick-off is at 7.00pm as opposed to the usual afternoon kick-off.
