Rob Jones Signs!

TOWN defender Rob Jones is the latest player to sign up for the Mariners next season. Jones joins fellow centre back Simon Ramsden to put pen to paper on a one year deal at Blundell Park. Meanwhile a number of players are thinking over contract offers including Crowe, McDermott and Whittle.
The 25-year-old former Stockport central defender missed much of last season though injury, but came back in the last few games of the season, when Town put together an unbeaten five match run.
"I think that I have proved over the last four games what I can do," Jones told Mariners Net. "Yes I've been in and out a lot this season, but I think I proved in the last four games what Rob Jones is all about. Hopefully that will stand me in good stead for next season."
Russell Slade is also believed to have offered a contract to one of the recent trialists who have been at Blundell Park.
