Coyne Rumour Untrue

Newspaper reports that Danny Coyne is being sought by Bolton Wanderers have been dismissed by Grimsby Manager Lennie Lawrence. Saying that he had seen a report in a newspaper, Lennie said he had not been approached by anyone about Coyne.
He said: "If this is true then I do not expect to hear anything until the end of the season and if we do get an enquiry then we will deal with it."
He added: "Danny still has a year to run on his contract and it is my objective to get him to extend that deal."
There have been a number of yet unproved reports that a number of clubs, including premier league, have indicated an interest in him but no approaches have been made although that does not mean they are unfounded. Clubs may be waiting until the season ends before making any offers.
