Grimsby v Chester Team News

GRIMSBY need one more point to be near certain of a play-off place but the Mariners will be looking for three to ensure they are on course for a top-three finish. Town play Tranmere away in the final game and they'll not want to go into that game needing to get points.

Winger Nathan Arnold (groin) is unavailable once again, as is Pat Hoban who is also suffering from a groin injury. Jordan Stewart has returned to Swindon after a largely forgettable spell on loan when he featured just twice for the Mariners.

Chester have no league position to play for but former Mariners Ross Hannah, Jorden Chapell and James Alabi will all be looking to prove something agaist their former side. City don't have any players injured, and the lack of any pressure for points mean they'll be able to play with freedom. Chester beat Welling 4-0 in their last game so will be coming to Blundell Park high in confidence.
