Wembley Tickets Update

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 09/05/2015 (Last updated: 13/05/2015)

GRIMSBY have sold around 10,000 tickets so far with their opponents Bristol Rovers having shipped around three times as many. Tickets cost £41 each, or £36 for Category 2 tickets. Concessions (Juniors Under 16 years of age) are available for £18.00.

Tickets won't be available on the day, they need to be bought in advance from seetickets.com, and every ticket has a £3 booking fee. Tickets can either be posted to you or collected at the stadium.

Grimsby should several sell several thousand more tickets but it looks likely that less than 20,000 Town fans will take their seats at Wembley, and have to settle for watching the game live on TV.

Grimsby last got promoted 17 years ago, and that was the last time Town played in a play-off final at Wembley. It was also the last time that the Mariners lifted a major trophy. They have appeared at Wembley in the JPT and FAT finals in the intervening years, but lost both matches.
