Aswad Thomas to leave Grimsby?

ASWAD Thomas looks like leaving Blundell Park due to personal problems. The left back had requested to have his contract terminated, citing stress, but the club have responded by granting the defender a month's leave.
The former Woking full back has missed the last couple of games due to his problems, and is rumoured to be unsettled away from his roots in the South East.
Meanwhile Newport striker Christian Jolley is not about to join Grimsby, despite strong speculation from Wales that Paul Hurst had targeted him and s signing was imminent. Hurst himself denied Town had any interest in the striker during last night's press conference.
