Grimsby v Forest Green Team News

PAUL Hurst will be attempting to get back to winning ways on Saturday, but it won't be easy at Blundell Park against big spenders Forest Green. The Mariners have not got the rub of the green in the last two games, losing them both by 1-0 scorelines, but they close scoring in the defeats by both Cambridge and Salisbury.

Striker Lenell John-Lewis is definitely out, but Ross Hannah has recovered from his hamstring problem.

Shaun Pearson is available again in central defence and is a possible to replace either Chris Doig or Clayton McDonald - more likely the latter.

Hurst has an number of options in midfield including recalling captain Craig Disley. Andi Thanoj will be pushing for a place though.

Forest Green are on a losing streak as well. They have lost 5 of the last 6 matches, the only exception being an unconvincing 1-0 win over Gateshead at home. Something has to give.
