GRIMSBY have signed a new 'keeper Greg Fleming, who last season played for Chesterfield in the Football League. 25-year-old Fleming will compete for the No. 1 jersey with last year's ever-present James McKeown.

The former Scottish youth international has plied his trade in Scotland, England and Ireland before being released in the summer by Chesterfield. Fleming played for Town in the recent friendly with Hull City which Town drew 0-0.

  • In last night's Lincolnshire Cup game away at Scunthorpe Grimsby won 2-0 and will progress to the final against Lincoln City.
