Town Sign Striker On Loan

BURY striker Danny Carlton has joined Grimsby on loan for a month. The 26-year-old made his name at Morecambe and Carlisle, but has had his chances restricted at Gigg Lane due to a major achilles injury.
The hectic schedule in the BSP means that Carlton could play as many as six games before 23 October when he is due to return. His has made four substitute appearances for Bury in the current campaign.
With Charles Ademeno a long term injury, Neil Woods, feels Grimsby need to add firepower alongside Alan Connell, who has scored nearly all of Grimsby's goals this season. Man fans however feel that Grimsby are weakest in central midfield rather than up front.
