Jarmo Pens New Deal

STRIKER Nathan Jarman has been rewarded with a new contract after impressing Grimsby manager Alan Buckley in the last few games. The 19-year-old has been handed a one year deal by the Mariners on the strength of his four recent showings in the first team.

Jarman, who has been on a month to month deal since being released by Barnsley last summer, has had limited first team opportunities this season.

The Scunthorpe-born striker though may find himself higher up the pecking order next year, especially if Town decide not to renew contracts for any of their existing strikers whose deals expire at the end of the month, such as Gary Jones.
