Rodger Gets His Man!

GRAHAM Rodger has finally managed to bring a central defender to the club after the disappointment of losing out on Georges Santos to Brighton. Doncaster Rovers centre-half Nick Fenton has joined the Mariners in a 3-year deal.
25-year-old Fenton began his career at Man City, making around 20 appearances for the Sky Blues. Since leaving the Manchester club, Fenton has gone on to play for Notts County and Doncaster.
Fenton goes straight into Saturday's squad to face Bury, where Rodger will have the luxury of choosing between four centre backs now on-loan defender Martin McIntosh is available again after being cup-tied against Crewe.
Billo Says: This is good news for fans who have been less than pleased with Town's opening games so far this season. Graham Rodger has been trying extremely hard to get new players in and he thinks enough of Fenton to give him a 3 year contract.
