Telegraph Says Slade is Our M.O.M.

THE Grimsby Telegraph today has awarded Russell Slade their own Manager of The Month Award and will be presenting him with a bottle of Champagne.
In taking this action the Telegraph is reinforcing the views of the majority of fans who were disappointed that Slade has been overlooked again despite having the better record for the Month of December.
Chairman John Fenty said: "He has done phenomenally well. We are delighted with the return from the Christmas games of nine points out of 12. The players are really pulling together and there is a fantastic spirit at the club.
Slade said: "It's nice to get that - it's a great gesture. We all want success for Grimsby Town and hopefully we will achieve that this season"
