NEW winger Ashley Sestanovich is looking forward to working again with Grimsby manager Russell Slade after spending three months last season on loan at the McCain Stadium.

The 22-year-old midfielder, who has signed on loan for the Mariners from Sheffield United for the whole of next season, told the Scarborough Evening News: "I was getting ready for pre-season with Sheffield United but my agent told me that there were a few deals on the table - both permanent and loan ones.

"As soon as I heard Grimsby were interested, I wanted to speak with them because I knew Russell Slade from my time at Scarborough last season.

"I know what sort of a manager he is and know he can get the best out of me. I can't wait to get started and work with him again at Grimsby Town."
