Chance Of A Lifetime!!

By: Mariners Net
Date: 26/12/2003

THE latest offer from Blundell Park is a 'first ever' and may not be repeated, but for one lucky person it will be a supporters dream. Imagine being a part of the Mariners squad for the day where you will do everything but play!

Travelling with Paul Groves and the squad in the club coach to an away game, joining them in the pre-match meal at their hotel, and then travelling with them to the ground to be met by the crowd of Mariners fans, and the home fans.

Some youngsters have been known to have been given a short ride from the team's hotel, but other than that no ordinary person has ever been allowed to travel with the team … and certainly no-one who has been allowed to travel ALL the way from Blundell Park to a League game at a distant away ground.

But this is not just a ride!

This is an opportunity to 'officially' represent the club in the same way as the players and officials, which is a special privilege enjoyed by few.

Of course, in that capacity as a representative of the club, you will be expected to conform to the dress code, and act in the same way that you would wish professional footballers to act! But you'd want to do that anyway, wouldn't you?

But not everyone could handle the tension, the build-up, the excitement, the responsibility of representing Grimsby Town, but if you could, this wonderful, once-in-a-lifetime experience could be yours!

Not only that! If a Fishy subscriber is that lucky person, we will publish your story on the front page of the Fishy about your experiences on the day!

The match will be the away game at Oldham on Sunday 8th February

But you do not have much time left, If you want to be that lucky person, place your bid now. To do that just Click Here
