Injury Update 16/03

By: Peter Forrester
Date: 16/03/2001

This week's Injury List sees the length of the list has grown - meaning more work for Town physio Paul Mitchell

Zhang Enhua: The Chinese captain took a bad kick on his foot against Wimbledon causing some bad bruising.

Paul Raven: The centre back is at Lilleshall still receiving treatment for a calf injury.

Peter Handyside: The popular former Scotland Under 21 international has recovered after suffering from a nasty stomach bug this week, causing him to miss Tuesday's 1-1 draw with Wimbledon.

Richard Smith: The tough centre back is in the treatment room again with a knee ligament injury.

Stuart Campbell: The loanee from Leicester has pulled his groin slightly but shouldn't be out for any substantial amount of time.

Daryl Clare: The lightweight striker took some heavy knocks against a physical Wolves side last weekend, causing the Channel Islander to miss the Wimbledon game, but is now back in contention for Saturday.

Dave Smith: Left-sided "Smudger" is back from Lilleshall and is only a matter of about a fortnight from returning to the first team squad.

Steve Livingstone: The big centre forward is still at Lilleshall with his calf injury. The joint leading scorer is thought to be out for another 2 weeks.
