The following is an "interview" of Ivano Bonetti undertaken by Nick Osborne.
Fishy:
When did you first start supporting the Mariners, and what was your first game?
Ivano:
I support you when I found out through dario that I didnt need to understand english.
Fishy:
Who is the best player you ever saw wearing a Grimsby Town shirt?
Ivano:
It was me,and always will be.
Fishy:
If there is one game you were allowed to go back in time and watch what would it be and why?
Ivano:
Away to Luton, you should have seen Laws's face when we came off the pitch, it was like thunder.hehehe.
Fishy:
What are your favourite and least favourite away grounds?
Ivano:
Best away ground is Prenton Park, they give job and money to me and Dario.
Worst is Luton, after seeing Laws's face at full time you should have seen mine 5 minutes later (ouch)
Fishy:
What, in your opinion, are GTFC's best and worst seasons since you have been supporting them?
Ivano:
Best is when I came to your rescue. Worst is when you all never came to mine.
Fishy:
What is the most eventful day you have ever had in the course of following the Mariners?
Ivano:
My 1st trip to the pier sticks out in my mind (and elswhere)
Fishy:
Who is the greatest ever GTFC manager?
Ivano:
It should have been me and Dario.
Fishy:
How many games a season do you get to now, and what do you do while Town are playing games that you can't get to?
Ivano:
I get to them all in disguise (I am Mighty Mariner)
Fishy:
Name your all-time starting eleven since you have been watching Town?
Ivano:
Myself and my 2 brothers, Dario and his 4 cousins, my sisters daughter and her husband and his brothers.and dont forget the brilliant Murray Jones.
Fishy:
Do your children support the Mariners?
Ivano:
I do not have any children at the moment, all the rumours of me and pier 39 are untrue.Kenwick Park is where I sleep with myself and noone else, savvy?
